A mostly true, post revolution re-telling:

According to a Mount Vernon insider, an indignant Martha Washington, miffed at the hordes of George's weighty well wishers abusing her "good" Hepplewhite chairs, ordered nearly three dozen Windsors for the estate's waiting room. Our own collection includes choices of bow back styles, fan back styles, birdcage and combback chairs and a large selection of armchairs.
