At the risk of repeating ourselves, we think you would enjoy a visit to our
shop. These photographs of our furniture can only set a mood. . . the words can
only articulate the pictures or detail the objects shown. A notable percentage
of the beauty in our wares is found by touch and proximity.
In addition you'll get to visit . . .
Historic Guilford,
Connecticut
Guilford is a wonderful old New England town on the Connecticut
shoreline. It was settled in 1639 by 24 families who bought if from the Indians
for trinkets and furs. Descendants from some of those original families still
reside in town, though they are largely out of the trinket business.
An abundance of colonial charm can be found in Guilford's
historic public and private buildings, at the Town Green, and in the area's fine
restaurants and places to stay. We'll be happy to answer questions about the
area an get in touch with local people and businesses.
