The William and Mary period marked the end of the medieval heritage. The
massive Jacobean forms were supplanted by furniture with a new lightness.
Choice of wood changed from ash to walnut with grains immediately
attractive to the eye.
Interestingly, William and Mary varies from rococo to simple, most of us
wouldn't guess that these pieces were all William and Mary.
We offer this furniture in most woods but adhere exactly to the William
and Mary design.
